Maybe a silly question, but I can't work it out.

I'm trying to book a multi-stop flight to Auckland via Melbourne from Sydney in Business class, but it won't let me book anything other than Economy, yet if I attempt to book a regular direct flight from Sydney to Melbourne or Melbourne to Auckland, it shows there are plenty of Business seats available.

Am I missing something blatantly obvious?

This is from the Qantas website by the way.

Cheers. :)

Mute,

I'm not sure what the problem is as it works for me.

On the home page click on Multi stop International.
On the page that opens the various class of fares etc are all available.

Oops :!:

I take that back. If you try to book via price it seems to work OK but if you try to book via schedule it says 'The requested cabin class is full or not available in at least one of the options listed below. (5003 UI)' no matter which day you pick.

It may seem a silly question but why book SYD-MEL-AKL rather than SYD-AKL direct :?:

Thanks for hitting me back straitman,

Seems that it does work, but not if you plan on doing it the same day... odd. :o

And in answer to your question, just wanted the extra creds.

OK. I only ask as SYD-AKL in J via LAN is a whole lot cheaper and it is a good service. The return time is hard though :!:
