Just noticed a $499 return fare advertised on the QF website - and it doesn't look like it's even a sale fare?

These cheap HKG Y fares seem to be a regular occurrence. I just wish they would extend them to J

PR has J return fares MEL/SYD/BNE to HKG from A$2629. Flat beds ex Oz.

I have posted separately as some other destinations are even cheaper than HKG. For instance MEL - Macau is A$2479 return but no flat bed on the shorter MNL - Macau sector.

Y is as low as A$589 return MEL/SYD/BNE - HKG with PR. Excellent frequency of flights MNL - HKG - MNL so pick and choose one's aircraft.

Book until 15 December 2018 on the Philippine Airlines website for travel on selected dates in 2019. There are some blackout dates: school holidays tend to be these, as one might expect.
