Hi all
I am just planning some work next year for me an tgtwwm and we are thinking of spending a chunk of time in HKG. We just got quotes for his next trip to HKG (whilst I am in Tokyo) and the only options presented were Thai Airways via BKK and Virgin Atlantic direct. Qantas werent even an option as they were $2k more expensive.
I did a quick check for February next year and the disparity between VA and QF was still $2k - does this mean that the only option really is VA for that tarvel? In which case should I be thinking of doing my HKG work in SIN (same business processes so its easy to do my work there

Edit - wow just checked prices to Shanghai and its not much better - looks like oneworld is not going to be an option to Shanghai at all
