Hi
Sorry the flight in question is QF87 and not QF987 as per the subject line.
After many many years of accumulating QFF points, we finally have enough for our trip to Hong Kong in business class.
I have just a few questions, that hopefully someone who has travelled business class before (sorry don't know if that's classed as 'J' or not)
Travelling on QF87, SYD-HKG Qantas award booking says that the plane is an Airbus A330-300. As this is our 1st time in business class we want to travel in the 'best' luxury that's on offer for this class of travel.
I've read that the A330-300 has skybeds on QF87 which I hope is correct.
Also can anybody share their experiences in the type of business class offered in the A330-300 aircraft and would it be a 'wow factor for us who are only used to the economy class travel, as this will probably be the first and last time we ever travel in business class again.
The dates we want to travel don't have bus class avail on the Boeing 747-400 QF127, so that's why our interest lies in the A330-300,
Also I've been reading past posts and as I'm not used to the 'lingo' not sure what is mean't by a comment I read that there are two classes of planes - 2 class and 3 class and the terms CX100, VX110, CX138 however they may not relate to the type of plane we will be on.
Can anybody enlighten me on these terms, what 'j' class is eg is it business and any experiences with Business class on a Airbus A330-300
Thanks, from a newbie bussiness class traveller. If only I know if the term was 'j' class. !!
