Supplementary Cardholders

Hi everyone,

Quick question about American Express supplementary cardholders. I am thinking of adding my partner onto my account. However, he doesn't have any credit history at all. Would adding him onto my account boost his credit score?

I don't think it would but just after some confirmation if anyone has been in a similar situation.

You are correct - it won’t.

There should be a sticky on this subject - there seems to be lots of FAQ about supplementary cards
