Ok, here'a a question for those who travel frequently to US.
If given a choice between:
- Superior (IMHO one of the best in the sky) long haul fully flat J product from SIN to LAX or SFO (on either CX or SQ) + 3 hr domestic Y flight, or
- Angled flat (JL & AA) long haul J (not on their new 77Ws) with no domestic flight at all
Which would you choose? I have done AA J a couple of times, not that impressed, but love both CX and SQ service & hard products. Usually, when travelling to US I need to travel to a non-international port, so it's easy to pick CX or SQ. This time, I'm tempted to tolerate the inferior long haul product to avoid the domestic leg and eliminate one stop. Also YUPs/discounted F are not accessible by TA.
