Interesting
Since i barely watch Sunrise does anyone have any extra info on how this 2pm deadline works?
I have to be watching on Friday and at some point a QFF will show up. If its mine i have until 2pm to call them to claim? Or they will contact me?

It appears that you need to contact them by 2pm. Was thinking maybe we could turn this into a wiki and list the number each week so that those that subscribe to the thread and register for the promo can stand a better chance of they are drawn out.

That would be awesome. How can we make it so?

No Idea LOL

A bit more detail they will announce the first 2 Digits only of the FF number followed by suburb and surname then you have to go online at

www.yahoo7.com.au/sunrise

by 14:00 AEST/AEDT

REMEMBER you must re enter every week as per the deadlines

Oh wow, this goes all the way until October. Going to need a calendar reminder to re enter every week

That's a huge security risk/privacy issue - essentially they'd be putting up 2 of the 3 details needed to login to a QFF account.

I would rather take the Cash Cow offering...

You will most likely be up for a few thousand dollars in fuel surcharges to spend the 1M QFF points on offer.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

It is ONLY the first 2 Digits of the FF Number NOT the full Frequent Flyer Number. You then need to go online and complete the balance of the frequent flyer number and by the looks of it complete other identifying information such as perhaps First Name then Address exactly as per the information held by Qantas Frequent Flyer.

I seriously do not see how this would be a security risk.

My birthday falls within one of the entry periods so fingers crossed for a timely present...

1 million points would be fantastic. That’s a lot of classic reward seats and/or upgrades.

One return J trip to London using cash would cost at least about 7.5k if a solo traveller. $1-2k in fuel surcharges and 256,000 points is a great deal if you can get it. Upgrades also save a lot of money compared with buying a J ticket using cash.

I value a million points at about $10,000 (obviously each to their own as far as valuation)

If each time you register they charge you 55c, then they only need 20,000 people registering to actually make a profit on this "giveaway".....

Wait what??!! Why am i paying to enter this competition?
