I bought a medium sized crocodile head today as a memento from my time in DRW, and I'm wondering if I would be able to bring it onboard as carry-on?

It would fit within the normal dimensions of a carry-on bag but as teeth are fairly sharp (naturally!) i'm curious to know if it would need to be checked.

It's fairly fragile so am hesitant to put it in the hold.

Thoughts?

According to ISS Security who do the DRW Airport screening you "should be okay to take as hand luggage". I suppose they'd have to actually sight to crocodile head to make sure it doesn't resemble a weapon of mass destruction to get the thumbs up. :p

I think 73 views and 0 replies before this says it all...

I think you should be fine though. And by fine I mean ok to carry it on - I dont mean fine generally

I have a feeling Hayden does not like the on-board food - so he bought his own! Lucky you didn't have 2 stuffed heads Hayden, I believe you can only have one carrion... :P

Everyone will be pleased to know that the crocodile head made it safe and sound.

(Security barely flinched when I told them that I had it in my bag!)
