Strategy to obtain US Amex

What MS can you do on US cards? I thought they were all watching for it and therefore I haven’t put much effort into it. Having said that, my spend could do with a boost.

Reports of quite a few people not actually receiving all of their mail and cards.

It also feels like it will inevitably become a CMRA.

i've had issues, hardly get mail. When i was expecting something for P2 and lodged a query they found a like 4 letters for me and nothing for her. She is the Additional Name on my account and has not received a single piece of mail.

quite frustrating really.

My Green card arrived and the cost to send to new Zealand is shown. plus $2 for handling

One thing I discovered is that since I have a premium address they send mail to New York to process so it took week after amex said it arrived for them to ship it cross country to their processing centre.

Those prices as much more what I was expecting. I signed up with Anytime Mailbox when I "moved" from Sarasota. They've hit me with $50 for US postal forwarding each time. Much of the stuff I have had delivered there doesn't require uber urgent international couriers. I thought I was being taken for a ride on the shipping via postal mail and I told them so. They just shrugged and said that's what their provider charges. I think they should make an economic return but this much for postal shipping is taking the Mickey out of customers. End Rant.

You can ask Amex to send a replacement directly to you after 10 days of approval / dispatch . Sent by dhl at no cost to you .

Can have a replacement sent by Amex via dhl after 10 days .

today was the day I was going to ask AMEX to send replacement so I am glad it turned up. I figured I should wait till they clear their friday/saturday deliveries on our tues due to time zone.

Wasn’t required recently . They sent otp to email etc . Though they did suggest that . But I called again . Got put thrpugh to fraud . Cleared etc .

that's handy, do you have to go through that every time you request the card to be posted here though? once you've done the notary they don't require anything next time.
