Strategy to obtain US Amex

There is 3-4 days with dhl -but expensive

Tried Amex GT ?

I don't have an AU amex and I think my history of churning may make chance for approval for an AU amex low.

It also looks like Nova credit my no longer be an option - I can't see the checkbox in the application form anymore and the nova credit also seems to have been wiped any mention of transfering credit scores off its website.

Then maybe sit tight and build your credit history for few more months then trying with easiest card on amex list.

Has anyone gotten the HSBC Elite credit card?

Thinking about upgrading to it but want to know anyone's experience using the unlimited Priority Pass attached to it, like does it include the authorized users and restaurants?

Is the Barclays Aviator card easy to be approved for ? I wouldn't mind trying to get some AA points as their redemptions are super cheap! ALternatively the Citi Strata but heard they can be a little difficult to get. I only have an ITIN and no checking accounts with them.

Earning rate: 3X Alaska Airlines ✦ 3x dining ✦ 3x foreign transactions ✦ 1X elsewhere

3x Foreign transactions without forex fee is heaven for US

Who else thinking of this card?

P2 and I are on the border 4/24 but so many cards we want to get before they gone but don't know what to do as don't want to be blocked out of Chase

😥

Just applied for it last night and approved today. Complicated journey.

Applied via phone with ITIN. Immediately declined and was asked to wait for the letter. Contacted the recon(?)/fraud team which quickly verified that I applied and then the application was sent to the "Credit Analyst" which they'll transfer you to as well. They told me that I should call back the next morning.

Called and confirmed that I was approved. Will be expedited to me.

I've just cancelled my CIP and I'm going to take a break from Chase. Given that they've tightened up their lending I think I'll take this opportunity to apply/try some other cards.

Just an FYI, I heard that BoA might shut down those who's majority spend is foreign transactions but we'll have to see!
