Strategy to obtain US Amex

Update on Chase activation. Can’t activate your profile via the app as required ITIN. I’ll call in to set up my profile. Was able to activate the card via an automated line, did a couple transactions already ($50 and $130 aud) without any issues. Although inserted the card for the $130 transaction and it required a pin, I just hit enter and it then required a signature on the receipt. Will probably hold off on adding the card to Apple Pay for now
Don’t you have an itin ? Can you get approved by chase without one ?

Has anyone here used the Chat function on the Hilton site, to redeem the free night cert from Hilton Aspire ? If so, did it work well ?

And if i were to call up, which number should i be using ?
+80044458667 (International free number) or
1-800-446-6677 ?
(It has been a while since i called up to redeem the free night cert. I know, so bad!)

I just used chat successfully for P2 account but a call would have been quicker. Took like 20 mins because the first agent just left the chat after getting all my details and did verification. He was really slow but the second one looked at the previous messages and got it done in a few minutes. Just make sure you have a credit card in the account and email handy when they send verificatio code.

Thanks so much for the advice.
