Strategy to obtain US Amex

For those who have Chase CC, is there anything in particular to follow or do once receiving the new card to prevent a fraud block? Notes I've got
- Activate card with VPN
- Put small charges (US online local charges if possible)
- Anything else?

How quickly can you start increasing charges if we have some bigger upcoming bills?

Really? I've never had any issues at all with mobile wallets when using Chase.

No rule as such wrt increasing but I believe your daily spend should be proportionate to your daily income until regular patterns are built up

I have this issue with Chase cards on my mobile wallet. Got upset, Called them asking for explanation. They said it's because the Mobile wallet is tied to Australia instead of U.S but asking me to make sure when adding the card to give it the U.S Residential address. Then the person went on and clear the block from their end. I have not got the issue recently but at early Stage, was rejected so many times with Mobile Wallet but physical card transaction went thru.

Call the recon line and plead your case on why you should have the card. I made a post about it a few weeks back on my experience in recon for both P2 and I

trying to apply for the Chase Marriott Boundless again but Chase is rejecting me based on thin credit file, no checking account... and I've had my US AMEX for years now (and ITIN since last year)

I have found it fine - just don't use VPN anymore as that led to all my accounts being blocked - I was able to enlist the assistance of the guy at the branch who remembered me and was able to get them unblocked.

I also didn’t use ApplePay while working towards the SUB spend. I now mix my spending to show I have the physical card with me.

I use chat and ask them add AU mailing address to account, only reason I ask was to get a replacement card.

I called them they said the app is pending they have sent me a letter which has the details but they are not willing to share the details of the letter on the call. I told the agent I'm overseas and can't access the letter but that didn't change his stance. is this a case of HUCA or there is more to it?

Just got letter from chase said reason of decline there no balance in chase deposit and not enough credit history. I got 2K on chase checking account, should I deposit more money then call recon line ?

There is a report in this thread of someone depositing $15k and then calling recon and having success so yes, what you are proposing may work.

They can never share contents of letter over phone .

Sometimes the letter is sent to confirm your address .
