Sticky Fingers - what's ok to go

I like laundry bags... I was shacked up in a Marriott for a few months for work a few years back and keep half a dozen. I still use them when I travel for shoes and laundry bags.

I have no issue taking disposable toiletries. No point leaving used soap behind when it could easily be used at home.

I have noticed though a lot of hotels now have the fixed soap dispenser.

i quite like the aloft soap, the free water bottle comes in handy to fill up with the soap from the dispenser...

(disclaimer: have tried to buy it online but they dont seem to sell the exact same fragrance formula)

These days i pick up mostly body lotion if I like the quality.

Mum collects hotel shower caps whenever she goes travelling. While not hotel related, another girlfriend loves to pocket airline sick bags just in case she gets sick in the uber after a night of drinking. I love the little shampoo/conditioner/body wash but only if I like the smell and these days I am rather partial to T2 teas as well.

I wouldn't take towels because, well, they're used towels.

I really liked the posh moisturizer from one hotel, and went looking for another bottle in the same small size before my next trip (no fancy hotels on the itinerary that time). Only one place selling it in Melbourne and they had no small sizes or samples, but willingly refilled my bottle for free from their 'tester' bottle.;)

The shower caps come in very handy for packing dirty shoes, esp. on a walking holiday.
