Same here, abeit on the platinum card. Made minimum spend by the first statement but points didn't post in first or second statement. Hopefully they post by the 3rd statement, otherwise I'll need to contact them I suppose.I did the required spend by the second statement but have not received the bonus points. Should I wait for the next statement or make an enquiry now?
Some of you might be very interested in this:
I have the Amplify Signature Qantas card and when I opened it this year (with 80k bonus), closed my previous Amplify Signature over 12 months ago. Not the case for a Business card. Never had an Amplify or Amplify Platinum card.
Last week, was told after enquiring about the lack of bonus points, that the Amplify Business card counts as an "Amplify" card and I would not get the bonus.
It is considered to be "Amplify issued" (this is the exact wording used) and the Business card doesn't have to be listed in the below reference specifically to be an excluded card.
The relevant line in the terms is here:
Existing customers who currently hold an Amplify, Amplify Platinum or Amplify Signature card issued by St.George, Bank of Melbourne or BankSA, or who have held one in the last 12 months, are not eligible for this offer.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'll probably have to take it to AFCA.
I forgot to update, I did and in the end via AFCA received some recompense. As expected, I was in the right and they were in the wrong.I would raise a formal complaint first with St. George, that might get you the points back if they acknowledge they misled you. Never happened to me but you and a business entity are certainly not the SAME customer in my eyes and wouldn't expect many circumstances where they are, certainly not yours either.
may work . Try a small amount first .Anyone have a view as to if it's possible to transfer altitude points to another cardholder? Both cards have substantial points balances that we don't want to transfer to Krisflyer just yet as risk around 3 years expiry.
Mrs and I both have this card seperately, and I'd love to have one altitude, one qantas.
