Status run to Silver: Is it worth it?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. 31 July came and went and I fell 95 SCs short

I even tried calling the QFF call centre today to ask whether they would make me eligible for the Double Status Credits promotion and back-date the qualification for that promotion (I've earnt 135 of my SCs between April and July) but alas the Call Centre operator was not able to suggest a way to make that happen... oh well.. it is always worth asking the question.. you never know!

So now... has anyone got some easy and cheap suggestions on how to get some quick SCs out of CNS for not much $$s. I'm planning a trip to KIX in December, and may even go J (well, JQ's J anyway) and pay for the Max fare to get the FF points and SCs: it's still cheaper than Y in JAL out of BNE.

I still vote for the NAN run and pushing the remaining flights that you don't need into the next QF period. Hell, why don't you do the NAN run + NAN LAX in J. Basically will get you to gold.

When I move on from my stupidly frequent flying job I can see myself doing the LAX run via NAN every 2 years or so.
