Shrug.

I once did 23255 mi over 8 flights in 3 days. Another 12 hour flight would have beaten this "record" in less time.
 
I feel the QF response would have been somewhat different... like cutting the number of status credits we can earn to stop this happening again :(

I suspect you did in fact beat his record - the title claims he travelled kilometres - which you would surely have beaten in miles. I did the same last week as well - 24000 miles in 6 days. Not hard.

Yes, and transcontinentals at that.

One of the peculiarities of the BA program is there is a magical distance at which the tier points (SC) jumps significantly. This eliminates anything in the 48 via DFW or ORD, and also the 3 class JFK transcontinental services are out. The addition of hubs at PHL, PHX and CLT I think has made it easier though.
