Status Credits

Hello fellow AFF members,

I have been able to earn easy Qantas status credits over the years, by using the any seat rewards option.
As we now know, QF will be moving the goal posts as of 1Jul.
Has anyone been able to work a way around this.
My priority is access to First/Business Class lounges around the world.
FF points are not an issue, due to heavy CC usage.
Are there any other FF programs that may suit.

The simple answer if you have points to burn is to use them on J & F classic awards and you will still have lounge access even without SCs being applied.
