If you're on QF booked in Y and use points to upgrade at the gate or lounge, are SC still calculated on the Y fare or on J?
I could trawl the T&Cs to find out but as we have a discussion board for questions I'm sure I'll get a quicker answer asking the AFF community.
Applying the rule "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" I figure the SC will still be calculated on discount economy, but I'd like to be wrong.
A: Points & SC are earned based on the fare you originally purchased.
