Hi, I need 55 SC to go from gold to platinum on QF by 31 August. I fly from CDG to NRT with JAL on 30 August which will give me enough SC to move up, but I notice that the credits are not credited to my account up to a week after my flight with non QF flights. Does anyone know if the date QF will use when assessing my status will be the date of the actual flight (30 August) or the date the credit comes through on the system (probably after 31 August). Would love to get to platinum...

Thanks to anyone who can help.

The SC's will apply to the date flown, not the date they appear in your account :)
Platinum will be yours :D

As per previous poster, you have no worries there. But forgive me for stating something that may be obvious - make sure your QFF number is on the booking. Different airlines have different credit times ( my own experience varies between LAn - around 7 days, to AA, which often gets credited within 12 hrs, quicker than QF itself). But no matter when the actual points go on your history, the dates flown are retained.
