Status Credit Calculation Help

Hi Guys,

I have recently moved to NYC and I'm sitting on about 1210 SCs. My anniversary date to make platinum is 30 September, and I have likely only one more trip booked in that period (return NYC to Melb, Australia). Using the QF SC calculator, it tells me that economy earns 190 SCs roundtrip which would bring me to platinum. My question is, if I book saver fares, do I receive the economy SCs or the discount economy SCs (approx 140 SCs?)

When you view available fares on the QF website, click the fare column header and a pop-up window will open showing you the fare conditions, including what level it earns at.

If you select the flights and proceed with the booking to the next page or so it tells you the sc and points earn below the fare conditions so that would tell you for sure the earn on the flights

Thanks guys - just another question as well. If I book saver, am I eligible to upgrade to business class with points?

The pop-up should tell you that too. Most red e-deal fares aren't upgradable, others should be.
