I'm just wondering if my daughter will get my Gold privileges if I book her room on my account and I am not there.
Last year I booked two rooms for Mrs D/me and another couple - both rooms got the privileges but of course, I was at the property that time.
I have searched the forum but can't find the answer. Sorry if I have missed a thread.

Don't believe so if you are not there to "check in" in your name (name of the Gold account).
The two room benefit - am not sure if this is a written benefit - IME has varied according to hotel/check in agent etc

I have however had Mrs KK check in a day before but had emailed the hotel to extend platinum privileges to her which they did BUT they only credited the no of nights to my account based on the day I checked in.
