As you're probably aware, SPG are offering 1 free weekend night for every 2 stays.

I thought it would be interesting to ask for suggestions as to where you might go to earn the nights, and more importantly - where would you spend the free nights?

Some of the Starwood properties are excluded - but what are some of their best properties that are included?

Good opportunity to stay cheap, then stay free at somewhere nice and expensive!

Thanks for the discount link Futaris - I have just booked a night at the Westin Auckland @ 199NZD.

Back to the promo - if the cost comes out of your pocket, 2 nights at $150AUD = $300 spent, which is alot of $$$ imo for 1 free weekend night - unless you are already travelling during that time (which I am) guess it can be quite useful to try and earn a few free nights from otherwise nothing.
