Totally on point for their brand.

Two A350s in Silver and Gold in collaboration with a Japanese artist

Gorgeous liveries.

Recently flew Starlux in J between BKK and TPE. Amazing service all around, great seats, lovely lovely lovely (I cannot emphasise enough how lovely) cabin crew, awesome food, fast wifi connectivity etc.

Really hope they join oneworld and commence flights to Australia.

And we might be seeing Starlux in SYD soon.

Per Starlux Instagram, they are confirming:
Sydney, Auckland, Barcelona, and Zurich in 2027.

Interestingly they say “expanding into Oceania with Sydney as a key gateway connecting onward to Auckland.”

Wonder if this means it’ll be a fifth freedom flight?

But absolutely fantastic to hear that they’re coming down under!

Another person who wants to try their service. All the Americans who have flown them rave about how good it is compared to other airlines servicing Asia. I already thought EVA and China Airlines service to be top notch so can't wait to try Starlux.

SYD airport have officially confirmed Starlux service with onward flights to Auckland. Flight schedules currently being finalised.

Unfortunately my COSMILE status dropped to Adventurer (Silver equivalent) before I ever got to set foot on one of their planes.

Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see how they price the TT tag flights. Could be fun to check them out.

Or maybe QF will codeshare to Taipei? CX can’t block that even if they are blocking JX joining OW.

I flew them once in Y and once in J - fantastic food (especially for Y).

Flight attendants are quite warm and a bit less robotic than how I found CI flight attendants to be (not to say that CI’s are poor). Cannot speak to comparisons with EVA, but Ben from OMAAT preferences Starlux and EVA over CI (in part due to the former two offering PJs on long haul flights, and the latter not).

Good IFE selection and seats, nice cabin colour tone too.
