So I need to get 2 pax back from Ljubljana, Slovenia to AMS or CDG. I have 25,000 KF miles sitting in my account, leftover from a previous redemption. They expire DEC 2016. I could spend $460 for the revenue tickets or the 25,000 KF miles + whatever YQ they add on.
I realise economy Star alliance redemptions are a poor usage of miles, but I can't see any other way to spend these KF miles next year. The only likely way I'd be able to use them is for a BNE-SIN Y saver award which is also about $485 for the dates I might fly. Should I use my miles for the partner redemption?
