staff flights

Hello everyone hope someone can help me,
My brother inlaw works for Virgin Australia and we are on their confirmed list for staff flights, and he is unsure on when we can actualy book flights for us.
He's tried booking online and he's able to book standbye flights now but is unable to book confirmed flights now for December
If anyone can help, it would be much appriciated

IIRC almost all staff travel is standby only.

I think in the staff travel world a confirmed list means they will promise to try and get you one, but until you are at the gate.......

Maybe your brother-in-law should research more about what his EMPLOYERS conditions allows and the processes involved. ASK STAFF TRAVEL...sorry for the blunt post, but geeez, common sense

VA have in the past done offers for staff friends and family tickets. These were not as cheap as the ID90 standby staff travel but were confirmed tickets.

Staff travel will be able to answer any questions, when I have used these tickets in the past the enquiry number was 131270 (QLD bus. hours).

Your brother in law needs to use ifly to book. Unfortunately on VA all staff travel is standby.
I would advise against too much discussion of staff travel in this forum.
