There is a room rate with breakfast for 2 people for $US20 per night in a Grand deluxe
room at the St Regis Mexico City. Mistake rate?
I have booked 4 nights in June 2011 for $US80.

Mistake rate alright.
Over at Flyer Talk they are reporting hotel is contacting them advising it was a mistake and offering an alternative of $20 for the first night, plus $189 for following nights.
Plus taxes.

I stayed there back in April - even the compromise rate seems good value - let alone the $20 rate (I assume it was suppose to be $200?).

I got the email from the hotel with the counter offer. sadly I cancelled the booking. The correct rate should have been $520 a night for the grand deluxe room.
