Is it just me or is the amplify site broken? I can log in and see my account details but no rewards at all will show. I have tried a couple of different browsers.

I might have to call. Glad I didn't leave it until the 30th...

Me too. I can't transfer the last few points. I thankfully transferred 4M over earlier in the month, but those last 20k I need shifted too, just on principal. I also noticed this.

I wasn't going to get the HSBC star alliance card to replace the Dragon, but I think I might now as it can go to Canadian Aeroplan miles. The best rate for KF now is through a 1:1 per $ spent on Virgin and then convert to 1.55 effectively at 0.645. Yes you could wait to receive a bonus.

On the other hand, you could get the HSBC card at 0.8 Aeroplan miles for 1st $3k and thereafter receive 0.4. This sounds like a bad trade, but it is not.

If I want to fly MEL to SIN using KF it is 68.5k points + $91. If I want to book with Canadian Aeroplan miles, then not only is it 45k +CA$120, but there is much more availability. The required spend would be roughly the same $110k spend will provide ~71k KF points through virgin or 44k Aeroplan miles with the HSBC card (assuming only 0.4 points/$).

AM i missing anything else that would be important by going through KF vs Aeroplan miles?

Yay! Transferred all my points out except for 400 or so. I'm sad though as it was good to warehouse. This plus the Amex points in October will make sure we travel overseas as much as possible in the next few years. I do wish SQ would extend the 3 year policy...

New TF rate starts 31 July so 30 July is the last date to TF at old rate.

i haven’t received my letter but the 31st is the new transfer rate date. They have effectively reduced the date by 2 days since I was looking at that date too and have only just realised. The amplify transfer team are not working weekends so I’m not sure whether a transfer done via the portal will work and I don’t want to loose points.

I did a transfer yesterday morning (2:1 rate) and the points showing in KrisFlyer this morning. Still showing 2:1 transfer in the St George portal this morning.

I expressly asked the TwitterX account about whether a transfer on Monday 31/07 would be new rate or old rate, and they said the old rate ends midnight tonight (Sunday). Transferred the last of my points out yesterday, and received them within a few hours.

I transferred another 80K this morn but 80K earnt on Fri still not showing - ah well such is life

Just checked extra 80K have now posted but I cannot arrange transfer as I am at 35K ft and cannot receive SMS to authenticate transaction - will have to wait til I get home at 10pm
