Is a 1.5% credit card fee worth paying for to get the 80,000 bonus points?

Or just spend it on stuff that doesn’t have a credit card fee?

If you don't have any other way to reach the required minimum spend in the time frame then you'll need to suck up the surcharge.

Because I live in the land of plenty I rarely do anything where the charge is greater than 1%.
If I was points poor I would probably do 1.5%.

Is there anyway to check the Qantas Frequent Flyer number they have on file in your account?

I tried looking for it in my online account but I can’t find it.

Is calling them the only way to find out?

Thanks.

Yes give them a call.
I am running up Kris Miles rather than Qantas points.

There’s this website Amplify Rewards - Home
But I can’t activate or register my Amplify Signature Qantas. Is the above website only for Amplify rewards?
Edit: Just got off the phone with them - Yes the website is only for Amplify cards linked to their own rewards program, not qantas.

Next silly question - I just enrolled for the 2 Qantas lounge passes - Will they have a 12 month expiry? I haven’t got any travels planned until later next year...

The passes used to be paper and had a 12-18month expiry. Now they are digital ones and will show in your freq flyer account. For me, they expire 12months from issue, but I don’t know if they need to be allocated against a flight or actually used by the expiry date.

I showed an acquaintance the pointhacks site offer for St George Amplify and she liked the idea of no cost Kris Miles offer.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I signed up for the August promo offer which was 90k points. Hit the spend in October (2nd statement). Bonus points still have not come through. I called them up last month and they promised them this statement but no luck.

I see the current promo says 12 weeks but my print out of the T&Cs from there does not have a time frame for the points to be credited.

Anyone else had issues?
