There's no way to compare to UL to any other airline where it would justify a price match. Every airline has something unique which adds subjective value and therefore there can never be an apple versus apples comparison.

Which airline are you thinking of price matching to? Remember UL is a full service airline not an LCC and I found them to be pretty good value in any case and flying Y (which is all I've flown with UL) was better than both SQ and EY with the same plane type (A330) IMHO and I supposedly had WP with both SQ and EY via my VA plat but at that time, I was NB with QF so no status with UL. I'd recommend UL Y over the other two at least.
The cheapest way to/from CMB would be on Air Asia. Likely the cheapest J from CMB (selected destinations) would be MH. Unless you are successful in winning an upgrade bid on UL. I suspect none of the above are interested in price matching.
