Is it just my imagination? When I go to singaporeair.com it no longer remembers my login details. That is so annoying.

I'm using Google Chrome.

I admit to knowing my KF number off the top of my head, just annoying to have to type it plus the 6 digit PIN each time I want to go to the website.

I prefer to do the whole lot so no third party is over halfway or the whole way to take advantage of you while you are out or away from your computer. The fortunate thing with SQ bookings is the third party would need to use a name that matches a passport so you would know who "borrowed" your points for an international flight.

I purchased Roboform and use the desk top program. This will remember the login details. The free version allows up to 10 entries. Not expensive. For any site that may require security, there is one more layer of security that requires a password. This password is something only yourself should know.

There is also a Version that can used on a stick so when travelling and using another pc it is usefull as it does not leave info behind.

Roboform® Australia by Siber Systems - Award winning Password Manager, Form Filler, Password Generator, Fill & Save Forms and much more distributed by SecureTec.

I have been using this product for several years now at home and work.

I know there are third party apps BUT this was all working just fine until someone somewhere made an enhancement.

'enhancement' is indeed a derogatory term on this forum.

I guess many bank IT specialists believe that the implementation of "Autocomplete" with HTML was a backward step.

In any case, the Login form for the SQ website specifically has it switched off.

Have you tried checking the "Remember me" box before logging in?

In June 2012 hey..don't rush it through too quick SQ.

A real shame the website is still terrible to use.

Upsides and downsides. It has improved. To be honest I find it no better or worse than QF, and conceptually it is quite good, shame about the implementation. And some instances better than QF.... for example when purchasing a ticket from QF and selecting your origin, still need to pick it from a drop down list. On SQ website just type in the airport code or first few letters of the city. Then for those of us internationally if I want to look at a flight from a particular port on the SQ site it doesn't matter which country website you are in. On QF you need to be in a website for that region, which sometimes can be a bit of pain. What am I trying to say? Every website has its faults, and SQ's isn't that bad. Ever tried navigating through a Chinese airline website?

Mine has never worked on Firefox. Even using the fingerprint reader on HP laptop.
It does, however, auto-complete if I type the first digit.
While we are on the subject, why doesn't "next day"or "previous day" work for me? I always have to go back and change the date on main screen!

I just checked and my details are not saved as well. Always worked before. I'm using Chrome. Just noticed hovering over the Krisflyer account number box, it shows a message, "Autocomplete is disabled for this page" IIRC, so they've turned it off.

that's the issue i first had. a few days down the track now and my number is saved but no longer the PIN. might be a work in progress. if i find time I'll get Chrome to forget the singaporeair website and visit it again for the 'first' time.

Tools >> Options >> Personal Stuff >> Manage Passwords.

I found 4 different singaporeair listed, removed them all and I'll start again.

The member login is stored in a cookie. I removed the 17 different singaporeair cookies. Once I reloaded the page, the membership number was remembered again but still no storing of the PIN.
