Looks like SQ are dropping to a single A380 service and three daily 77W services according to Airline Route:

airlineroute ‏@airlineroute 6m As of 0450GMT 25JUL13, Singapore Airlines shows 3 daily 77W + 1 daily 388 SIN LHR eff 27OCT13. More changes possible

There were 5 Suites taken on today's return to Singapore flight so I used two and loved it in the A380. It is a great way to fly.
Move it from bucket list to actual would be my recommendation.

Makes a whole heap of sense. Those 380's aren't very nice for the Y class traveler, which, lets face it, are the vast bulk of airline passengers. 777's are much nicer (and less likely to have their engines or wings fall off).

at least on an a380, 2 engines can 'fall off' (your words) and the aircraft could carry on to land safely somewhere... 2 engines 'fall off' a 777....ummmmmmmm

Those coughpy noisy cramped 777s nicer than a nice spacious quiet A380??? Not even in cattle class this statement is true, not to speak about the classes that really matter for revenue reasons. I'd take the A380 any day!
