SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Ah huh - I know for a fact boomy and penegal both have it in their cellars so I think you have nailed it BCons 👍👍👍

I’ve yet to try it onboard. Have few F flights coming up later this year hopefully Cristal will feature in one of them.

But HOW, WHERE and WHY could this ever be considered worthy of inclusion in any F Class offering?

All the wine budget went on quality Champagne and Bordeaux they couldn’t afford a decent Aussie (wine and pax in your case 😛 ).

232 on 380 yesterday was less than memorable exp. Apart from the fabulous crew those hideous poxy Suites are a PITA - I also BTC beef tenderloin and it was almost inedible - WiFi would not connect 60% of journey - enough to to drive a man to drink 🍷🥂🍾

ATPIT the Ette and I appear to have F cabin on 318 to LHR to ourselves tomorrow - I much prefer F in 777 to R on 380 except for the much larger toilets and the R seat is actually more comfortable to sit in but that is where R benefits start and finish IMO

Think your view of F vs R are well- and historically-known, and many will agree.. And I r emain in the F/777 camp for many other reasons, but I hv to say that jointed bed is not a favourite..

One of the few things in favour on the A380 - and only in 1A/1F - is that the bed is fully, monolithically, continuously and extensively One Piece. Because the A380 flies with a nose-up attitude (pitch maybe 3/5deg, an expert will advise..) the beds that hinge from the back tend to tilt One towards the hinge, rather than tipping One out.. Beds in row 1 are Good, beds in rows 2 and 3 not so Good. Getting picky arent we..
