SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Is there anything we should do (ie tell cabin crew) if we want to visit TPR on arrival?
We are on SQ222 so would love to have a quick visit and dinner there before collecting bags and heading into the city. I have heard it's possible but thought the brains trust here would have experience.

Just turn up at the TPR and show your inbound boarding pass.

The cabin crew aren’t involved.

Remember to enter singapore through the same terminal you arrive in. For example if you arrive T2 and visit the PR in T3, you must return to T2 to clear immigration… that’s where your bags will be held by the left luggage office.

Awesome, thank you! Fingers crossed we arrive at T3 then but no stress either way.

That’s your experience, and that’s great…. until it isn’t. Mine - and others - have been different.

Just wait till you get a couple flights in a row where the pilots are over cautious. It significantly impacts the overall product.

Until I experienced it I was much the same as you. But once it happens it’s a risk that goes into considering whether to fly SQ or another carrier.
Four long sectors in the last few weeks, and it seems to me this is now back to normal.
