SQ is back to four flights a day between SIN and LHR from June 2.

All VTL flights although VTL will probably fall by the wayside by then.

One A380, one A350-900, and two 777-300ERs in each direction each day.

SQ comms promoted the schedule today.

And a pretty chopped up sched it is. Been looking for SQ in F for LHR Return. First time was in Feb for May trip but now booked EK Who can get us home in 24h incl a domestic connection ex Mel to HBA. Now looking at a further trip in Sept and again SQ scheds dont suit, much as we wud like them to.. Those that allow us to get back to Hba without a Mel or Syd onight stop don’t have F on both legs, those that do involve either 5h30 or 7h Spore layover. For those who might argue the opportunity for hours and hours of TPR time, there’s a point in life where consumption is no longer the goal..

Anyway now agreed with the T/A that we will just hold off Sept booking. Perhaps there will be a better alignment of SQ flts in the next few months. Wasn’t like this before, y’know, covid
