SQ planning flights to Chiang Mai

Hi all,

See link below to article in the Bkk post...looks like SQ is planning to fly to Chiang Mai again, I am guessing this will be in addition to the current Scoot schedule.

Interesting always was a SilkAir route, but then went to Scoot when SilkAir was disbanded.. maybe aircraft availability related at the time but as the SQ narrowbody fleet grows it does give them more options for either moving to SQ or as is most likely dual operations on a route.

Not unlike QF which initially deserted OOL, MCY and a few other destinations in favour of JQ. Now we see QF happily coexisting at OOL, MCY and DPS with JQ.
