For Premium Economy and Standard Economy free access is for everyone with a Krisflyer account.
Recently they have changed the authenticaiton process to ask for Seat and Name instead of just Krisflyer number which checks for a Krisflyer number on the booking. But when that fails (for me it's becasue I use VA memebrship for status and points) you will get an opportunity to use your Krisflyer details to get a "voucher" code for wifi.
