Went to book Syd-Sin-Fra (Sq J) - Krw (Lh J). Can't do it online but can see Sq J Syd-Sin-Fra and Lh J Fra-Krw are available separately. Rang Sq and they can book Syd-Sin-Fra in Sq J but only Fra- Krw in Lh Y. When I asked why I can see Fra-Krw in Lh J available online, they said that is only available as a separate booking. If I wanted Syd-Sin-Fra-Krw on one ticket and priced at 105K pts, the only availabilty for Fra-Krw is LH Y. I booked it as Fra-Krw is only a 90 min flight but now realise I won't have lounge access at Fra. Is the agent right? Anyone come across this before?

Without knowing the specifics of this booking, I would say it's plausible that the agent is correct. But I probably would have HUACA'd just to be sure.

I've been told a similar thing trying to add SYD-BNE on VA J onto the end of BKK-SIN-SYD J/Suites trip - they could only see Y and could only book it as a separate ticket.

I gave up and booked QF J SYD-BNE.

That wouldn't be a married segments issue (which the OP's appears to be) as VA flights can't be booked on *A award tickets anyway. So a similar problem but a different cause.

I know Krisflyer doesn't officially allow back-tracking. Although in practice you can get away with it to a limited degree. But I wonder if in this case they're allowing the back-track in Y but not J?

FRA-KRW is over 2200 miles - so it would be around a four to four and a half hour flight.

I had assumed the OP meant KRK as LH does not fly from FRA to KRW.
