Hello,

Has anyone ever found 3 tickets for first class from Melbourne to Europe?

I have found two tickets but not 3 so just thought if they have a cap on it or something?

Sorry if this is on the wrong forum.

Thank you

Just book a two and a one a few hours apart.
We did get 4 on a Suites flight and so we did PH Rare together in The Private Room in Changi. We had to go Standard Miles for the second two seats.

We are a family of 3 and when we have travelled SQ F, it has always required 2 savers and 1 standard to be certain we are on the same flight. With the new Suites and on the new 4 seat F, I have generally only found saver availability for 1 pax.

On most F flights Mel - Europe I can get 2 savers - even on the "New F" with only 4 seats total.
Agree with stated options - we often get 2 savers plus 3rd as standard.
Other times we split family into 2 on the same day.
The other thing which has worked for me a couple of times is to get 2 savers, get the 3rd pax into lower class then to call them and explain you are concerned about the 3rd person being alone ( if they are a child) - they can sometimes get us an extra saver in F this way.

Did you get confirmation straight up, or did you go on the waitlist? Wait-listing can be unnerving if it drags on...

Just arrived in CDG from MEL.
3 of us in 1st class, all Saver awards.
2 were instantly confirmed about 11+ months ago when booked. 3 rd person was waitlisted and confirmed about 1 week prior to departure.
The 3rd person was only able to fly 1st from Singapore to CDG. The first leg of flight (MEL - Singapore) only managed to get a business class seat. Not surprising as the first leg was a 777 with "New" 1st class ( only 4 seats in total).

Oh wow, I had no idea you could book two a few hours apart. I thought it would just be unavailable. So did you book two tix then another two tix a few hours after?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

What I meant was one would go on a later plane which is often just 3 or 4 hours later.
Do try for three first and you can use the call centre as well.

Would booking from another account also work as a strategy?
1 member books 2 tix and another books 1 tix.

I don't think that would make more savers available if that is what you mean.

if no savers, then perhaps availability in general?

I guess F would be difficult but might work better in J?

Thank you, I assume standard is like double the points?

Oh wow, that is a dream! So it's worth going on the waitlist? I would be on the edge of my seat everyday until the day we leave.
