Sat in ADL QC waiting for the delayed 694 and an oddity on the departure board hits me...

The only flight without a code share - and the only one NOT QF, JQ or EK - is SQ276.

Doesn't SQ have it's own Kris lounge buried below the (usually) International Gates? ...So why do QF deem it necessary to list this particular flight on their QC departure screens?

(Yes...I'm bored!!)

Regards,

BD

My guess would be that a CL member had booked on that flight... they probably use the same departure screens in both lounges. :)

(Or, if the staff are in a good mood, there could be a QF WP arriving on QF and using their arrivals access before departing with SQ.)

We don't have a CL in Adelaide that's separate. We don't even have a business lounge.

I also do wonder why ANZ doesnt use the VALounge for its Works Deluxe guests.
Am doing ANZ C/D/J this Sat, via VA to SYD then ANZ to AKL. Booked directly with ANZ, but points to VR.
Wonder if I get the QP in ADL access.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Because it's rubbish? Seriously, you get 50 people in there and it starts to feel claustrophobic - which is good because there's only the one dunny.

Worst lounge in the VA "network" IMHO.

Lol you can all be assured neither Qantas nor the airport would bother modifying departure screens based on a CL booking on a different airline...
