Planning next year's European trip for June-July, it's looking as though I may want to do a circle with the long-haul segments on SQ. It would look something like this: MEL-SIN (connecting flight, no layover or stopover)-FCO--approx. 2 weeks in Italy--FCO-MRS--approx. 1 week in France--MRS-LHR--approx. 10 days in UK--LHR-SIN-MEL (connecting flight, no layover or stopover in SIN).

FCO-MRS would be best on Alitalia, but MRS-LHR is best on BA (not *Alliance).

Any suggestions on how to set about booking something like this. I don't have many KF miles left from last year, but might have enough for MEL-SIN-FCO in Y. So, leaving aside the question of award flights, how would I organize this as a circle flight? Is there any way to do it more cheaply than as a series of one-way flights?

I'm posting this in the SQ forum because I strongly prefer SQ for long-haul flights and do not want to go via the Middle East.

Many thanks for your response, Jeffrey. My plans are in flux at present but I'm glad to know an open-jaw flight search is possible. And you links will be useful whatever I end up doing.
