SQ baggage check through

Hi all,

I've done some researching but most information is from several years ago (pre-covid).

I'm probably going to book some award tickets on SQ using VA points; routing would be;

MEL-SIN (Premium Economy)
SIN-FRA (Business)

Then I would book a separate ticket to go from FRA-AMS same day with KLM (KL1774) or Lufthansa (LH1002).

What's the chances of the check-in agent in MEL being able to also tag my bags thru to AMS from FRA even if on separate tickets?

The SQ flight arrives into FRA at approx 5.40pm, is Frankfurt immigration usually quick for non EU passport holders? }
