HI all,

Any tips for checking *A redemption using KF mileage? Trying to get a ticket from FRA to SIN on LH A380 F (or 747-8) using KF and coming up empty ...

Thanks!

I would suggest that you are most likely to find J or F availability on LH using KF miles up to 2 weeks in advance of the flight. Other than that, you're probably unlikely to find much.

You should be able to more easily redeem for an SQ flight on that route though.

Thanks Matt G. I cant find SQ so am looking at other options ... I have tickets in to Europe and struggling to find a return. *A more expensive points wise but better than nothing!

Happy to look at other routes (Europe to SIN or SYD) that anyone else can recommend as having less patronage? But no success thus far via CDG, LHR, ZRH or FRA on SQ.

Have you looked at Thai Airways?

I don't know an easy way to look up *A availability ... happy to consider TG as well, but that was the jist of my OP in that I dont know how to check *A availability (other than calling KF direct)

You can try searching on the United website. It doesn't always match SQ availability exactly, but it provides a general guide.

To find star alliance availability, United website is good for most airlines (not SQ though) otherwise join Air Canada Aeroplan and look up there.

At the moment, with various corporate bans, IST tends to have good availability.
