I certainly wouldn't call it a cruise, but are there any deals or discounts to be had for this crossing ?

My wife and I are planning a trip to Tassie in Oct and I would like to book ASAP
 
Usually no discounts as the price quoted is heavily subsidised by Government.Occasionally they do have a special but usually just on the "ocean chairs".
Also as the cabins fill the price tends to go up.
