SPG gone from ebates

Got a shock today when I went to ebates to book a series of stays in Jan to find that all SPG hotels are no longer available. Thanks to a post by markis I've been using ebates for over a year to book all my SPG stays and found it a good little earner for just a few minutes of extra work.

My questions:

1. Is this a common thing? Do hotels come and go from ebates and is SPG likely to come back?

2. Can anyone recommend any other good cash redemption websites for booking SPG hotels?
