Hi All,

It seems as though the published hours on the Qantas website for the operating hours of the spa in the Sydney and Melbourne lounges may not be correct?

Further, are the opening hours of these Lounges as published on the Qantas website correct?

If these details are not correct, is there a way to get the correct information?

Hi All,

The opening hours for Melbourne are certainly not correct. The published AM opening is 0615, however having been through recently - flying out on the 0730hrs QF153 to AKL - it was definitely open by about 0520hrs.

In MEL, I saw the staff leave at 2300hrs, so I guess the last Spa treatment must be around 2230hrs.

The MEL hours are definitely wrong. It is a frequent query of various members on this site. I have suggested a few times on this site as well as direct feedback that it be addressed. I suspect hours are a bit flexible but a more accurate description should still be put up on the QF pages.

About 4 months ago the P1 team told me the hours were now (then) 07:30 to 11:30; and 19:00 to 22:00. But I have had treatments pre 7pm, and as others have noted they seem to be open before 7am. I have also used the spa around 2pm (but those visits were over a year ago so probably best to assume closure between Noon and 6pm minimum. Anything else is a bonus.

As others have hinted at, but not quite stated yet. I think its a flexible roster, so to speak.

Especially for MEL. SYD may be a different thing. I'd imagine SYD's curfew times, make it much more definite, where as MEL, might be more dependant on flights and services available.

Best bet would be to actually call Qantas and ask. Rather than relying on us to give 2nd or 3rd hand info.
