South Pacific flights using classic rewards

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are any destinations in the South Pacific to or from Nadi/Suva that need to be called up to search for? A friend is getting married in early July which clashes with school holidays - so classic flight rewards are a bit sparse and paid fares are a bit extreme. I'm based in MEL, hoping to be in Fiji from 8-10 July but more than happy to take a convoluted route (excluding the USA) to and from if i can unlock something that is perhaps not accessible through a multi city search.

Grateful for any and all advice you can share.

Just buy a cash ticket on the outbound.

On the 6th of July MEL-NAN direct on JQ is $295, 7 July MEL-BNE-NAN on VA is $463 and on 8 July MEL-NAN on VA is $318. None of these are extreme prices really given the length of flights involved.

That being said who doesn't love a challenge.

MEL-BNE and BNE-NAN searched via multi city on the 7 July Qantas Website. Currently 23,000 Qantas points and $169.39 taxes oneway.

The much crazier MEL-SYD-BNE-APW-NAN is all available as a classic reward (oddly no MEL-BNE direct). Need to search multicity MEL-APW on 6 July and APW-NAN on 7 July. You get to hop around the major cities, a fun 737 red eye flight and a full day in Apia - much more fun!

The following will currently set you back 29,000 Qantas points and $308.11 for the oneway MEL-NAN

On the return, could buy a cash fare NAN-OOL, the 11th of July is $456 which is not bad then can get a classic reward from OOL-MEL (currently only JQ via SYD on those dates).

I have booked SYD-BNE then BNE-SYD before on classic reward as no additional points needed compared to flying direct and also the timing is much better than the direct Fiji Airways flights from Sydney.
It's not a bad option if it's available just obviously a longer journey coming from Melbourne. Early start but at least the first leg is domestic and they will check your luggage through the whole way.
