Got notice overnight that South Africa is moving to Level 1 restrictions on Sept 21 and will resume international flights (via CPT and JNB only) as of 1st October, 2020, with some high risk countries to be excluded.
Will be a moot point for Aussies for the time being because of the non departure rules here, though.
Pax arriving into SA must have a negative Covid test not more than 72 hours before departure, screening checks on arrival and some pax may be required to enter 14 days quarantine at their own expense.
Shops, restaurants etc will be restricted to 50% capacity with a max. of 250 people at indoor gatherings, masks to be worn, curfew midnight to 4am.
