Sol lineas Aereas Airlines Advice

Has anyone flown with this Argentine airline or have opinions on reliability and safety, seeing as there was a fatal crash in may 2011.

I need to get from BUE to MVD and Sol has a more suitable schedule than AR. Also flights are cheaper than the express ferry.

I have flown with SOL a few times within Argentina. They are fine when the flight is on time, like all flights in Argentina that is never a given. Obviously the recent crash doesn't help their reputation, I think you will be fine though - unlikely to have another incident so soon.

Thanks Tortunga. My initial reaction was, no way I would risk them due to the crash last year, but then how many airlines have had similar incidents.

It may sound bad but my view on it is - when it's your time to go then it's your time to go.. Might sound morbid but the chances of dying in an plane are extremely slim. So don't worry about it and enjoy the flight with SOL !!
