We are looking to stay at the Sofitel Macau next year as the Westin is too far out of the Old Town.Of course absolutely no status at Accor but the club floors are only about $A30 a night more than non club floors. However you are quoted 3 rates-prepaid and 2 levels of flexible rates. The 2 lower rates say breakfast is extra, the top rate breakfast included.
So dont you get breakfast in a Sofitel lounge? If not exactly what do you get?The Accor site really doesn't seem to give an answer.

Its fairly new and the location suggests there are plenty of hawker and other eateries in the vicinity, might explain the lack of a significant premium on the club rooms rather than a lack of offerings in the club itself.

I've been an Accor Advantage Plus member for the last 4 years or so and regularly use the Sofitel Club in BNE and SYD. As I am always travelling alone its nice to sit somewhere comfortable, quiet with other people around instead of being stuck in room with nothing but an overpriced minibar for company.

The Accor website can be rather eccentric, but complimnetary breakfast is served in the club lounge and is included in the club tariffs.

What you get:
evenings they serve hot an cold canapes (SYD lounge has some fabulous things on spoons) and free drinks.
I often manage to get through a bottle of half decent sauv blanc and more than my fill of eaties that I quite happily fall into bed a satsifed man.

Breakfast is usually scrambled eggs, sausages, tomato, bacon , toast etc. They also have a cold selection of swiss cheese and ham and a few pastries.
You can order fried or poached eggs from the lounge staff.

The downside is they have typical hotel quality coffee which is barely drinkable.

The lounges are open during the day with free tea, coffee and simple finger sandwiches.

Complimentary internet is also available, along with a few board games etc.

I would imagine this is fairly minimum standard (allowing for decor differences) throughout the Sofitel family.
