Sofitel Adelaide Club/Lounge access for Plat?

Sofitel Adelaide has club rooms that can be booked but the lounge is not listed here as being available for access to Platinum members, has anyone had luck accessing as Plat?

List of hotels with an Executive Lounge
Hi All - seeking clarity on this seemingly unanswered lounge access question above, and then related to this… whether folks would recommend Sofitel vs Playford in Adelaide, assuming the rates were similar for a Deluxe King at Sofitel vs a Junior Loft Suite at Playford?

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi Matt - I can confirm Plat does indeed receive club access - I've only stayed at the Sofitel in Adelaide and really enjoyed the club and room there.

We stay at the Sofitel Adelaide 3-4 times per month minimum and yes lounge access is a Platinum benefit.
Have stayed at the Playford a couple of times and the Sofitel is far better IMO. I’d even say the Pullman is better than the Playford

Thanks for this. My existing booking is with Sofitel, so I think I’ll just keep that. Can you tell me if they offer the choice of breakfast in the lounge or restaurant, based on status? Or is it lounge only?

Choice of either. The restaurant has a far a far bigger selection but can be very busy especially on weekends so we always choose the lounge. Small select menu and buffet but if you want something not on the menu you can ask and they will get it from the restaurant for you

Nice - I’m there a few nights so will go by how busy it is each morning. Generally prefer restaurants, but not when it’s mayhem
